The velvety deep purple - almost black - petals of Parrot Tulip ‘Black Parrot’ flourish like dark feathers. As a late bloomer, the Parrot Tulip can be perfectly planted with other varieties that emerge in May. We think Camassia ‘Blue Melody’ would be great company for ‘Black Parrot’. Enjoy watching this mysterious and astonishing “bird" slowly open its wings!

Plant in any garden soil with good drainage. Tulips may be left in the soil (but flowering degenerates); they can also be lifted after the foliage fades, stored at normal summer temperature and replanted in autumn. Bulbs grown from cultivated stock.
