Unlike the Greek tale of Orpheus, Cactus Dahlia ‘Orfeo’ is anything but tragic. But much like the musical talent of the legendary Orpheus, this dahlia is enchanting and romantic, evoking a sense of longing. ‘Orfeo’ has a magnificent, full-bodied shade of deep purple-pink and numerous coiled petals. Perhaps the company of dahlia ‘My Love’ will inspire ‘Orfeo’ when writing his next song.

Plant at sunny sites in border, flowerbeds and outdoor containers in any garden soil. Keep plants well watered during dry periods and remove faded flowers. Remove the middle flower-bud of each stem. Cutting flowers, when in full bloom, encourages further flowering. Bulbs grown from cultivated stock.
